Marc Jacobs Honey Review

First of a massive thank you to my boyfriend for bringing me back this from his holiday!
When I first heard a new Marc Jacobs perfume was coming out I was overwhelmed with excitement, I know how sad. But after wearing 'Daisy' for years I have become extremely attached to Marc Jacobs perfumes and anything by Marc Jacobs, including his to die for watches!
Honey is a delicious floral, alluring, with a sparkling, golden touch scent. The perfect mix of brightness and warmth (perfect for Autumn might I add).
The fragrance energizes with the freshness of green pear brightened with a splash of fruity punch and juicy mandarin. At the heart of the fragrance is orange blossom, a note of sparkling femininity that mingles with nectar's of honeysuckle and peach. Honey, vanilla and smooth woods dry down to a warm, golden base.
What is 'Honey' like compared to 'Daisy', not as easy to wear I find and that is the only negative thing I will have to say about this perfume. It is a particular taste Honey and a 'you have to be in the mood for it' kind of scent. Where as, with Daisy I find I can just spritz it on any day or time of the week. Which is a good for the bank, at £64 its not really something I want to have to re-purchase in a month. I'd also say Honey is more sweeter and more vibrant than Daisy and certainly a day time scent.
Something I really like about this perfume is how distinctive it is, no perfume I have ever smelt or owned has ever had a scent like Honey. Another lovable thing about Honey is the packaging! Now I know £64? Who cares about the packaging its all about the product? Not for me, If a perfume has ugly packaging it can really put me off, at £64 I want it to look pretty on my dressing table aha!
Have you tried it? Also what other posts would you like to see?
