So lets start with SPF, what is
it and why is it so important? SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor and is an
indication of the amount of protection a product provides against UVB
light. An SPF of 15 will filter out approximately 93% of UVB rays and an
SPF of 30 will filter out around 96%. An SPF of 15 is seen as the recommended
minimum by most health experts. While you’re reading this I am currently in
Tenerife, soaking up the sun but doing it safely! I’m taking Hawaiian Tropic’s silk
hydration, just so it does a two in one job! With its ultra-luxurious hydrating
silk ribbons, Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration™ lotion sunscreen nourishes and
pampers skin while providing broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, and 12-hour
moisturization when out in the sun. (Kim Kardashian even wears it!)
