If
there's one thing I am, it's a mascara snob. I have always, for as long as I
have been wearing the magical stuff opted for high-end mascara. From Benefit to
Yves Saint Laurent being my favourites, this year I decided I needed to dive
more into the world of drugstore and gather a better knowledge for my lovely
readers.
Looking
at my collection of high-end mascaras I decided it was time to inject some
drugstore magic into my life. Collection caught my attention, as all the
mascaras were under £6.00, admittedly the packaging of ‘Big Fake Curves’
snatched my attention. The pink, black and white compliment each other so well
and it just looks so pretty sitting in my stash (priorities?)
The brush scared me at first, its
huge! I really thought it would be one of those annoying mascaras that hit your
eyelid and underneath your eye and just cause a horrifying mess. But to my
surprise it applied my mascara very neatly, although as you can tell by the
picture a bit clumpy. If I had enough time in the morning, basically if I didn’t
eat breakfast and apply make-up in the first place I would have the time to
apply this perfectly… The mascara lasted well through out the day, with no drop
outs and my lashes stayed volumised!
What’s your favourite drugstore
mascara? My bank account needs a cheaper option!
I think Collection are one of the best brands for cheaper mascaras, I used to use them all the time! At the moment I really want to try the mascaras by MeMeMe as they apparently have a good dupe for YSL Baby Doll which is my ultimate mascara xx
