The flawless girly gift guide: Everything under £40

If you want a gift that will rock the pink frilly socks off of a girly girl then look no further. As a girly girl myself, I know what girls like.

If your daughter, girlfriend, best friend or even your Nan is the queen of nails and all things pink and pretty then I’m sure they will love something on this list.

An easy gift if you don’t have time to run out to the shops and need something ASAP would be a magazine subscription. Vogue and Cosmopolitan are my ultimate favourites and a month doesn’t go by where I don’t purchase them. All you simply have to do is know the persons (of who you’re buying it for) address and Google ‘Cosmopolitan subscription’, fill out the form to get it sent to their address at the beginning of every month, pay and BAM, job done. If they’re not into magazines you could get them a voucher to get their nails done or hair done at their usual salon.

I personally love geeky things that are transformed to be more girly and the Simpsons collection by Skinny Dip does that flawlessly. Anything from that collection would make a fabulous gift but I must say, the Mr Burns pink clutch bag is a winner in my eyes.

Nail polishes, any girly girl will appreciate a good old nail polish. Essie and OPI are by far the best for quality and for gifts as they are that bit fancier. You could even make a care package filled with nail polishes, a top coat, nail stickers, and treatments.

Christmas time is the perfect time to receive a book. When you’re overly stuffed from dinner and just want to lie down and read or in the evenings while you’re relaxing. I’d recommend giving ‘Girl Boss’ to any woman to be honest. It’s all about how one woman started her £1million business and the sass is unreal.

I think you already knew before you even clicked on this article that something from Lush Cosmetics would be a good idea. Like I suggested with the nail polishes you could put together a care package or even a basket full of bath bombs – depending on how much you have to spend as they can be pricey.

By itself or included in the Lush care package, Philosophy bubble baths make a luxurious gift. They’re not cheap and not really something the average person would spend their money on so it’s nice to get something a lil fancy for Christmas.

For some reason every year for Christmas I get a new makeup bag. It has just become a little tradition and I love it because throughout the year mine gets so grubby, covered in makeup and batting around in the bottom of my bag so it's nice to have a fresh one for the new year. Any makeup lover will appreciate a fresh new makeup bag (as long as it’s cute).

I just had to add an item of makeup in this gift guide and decided to go with my most treasured piece of makeup – a Chocolate Bar Palette by Two Faced. Although they are expensive it is worth every penny. The shadows, I kid you not, last all blooming night and don’t crease. Also, they smell of chocolate so that alone makes them a winner.

Will you be buying anyone something off of this gift guide or perhaps treating yourself?
